Tip: how to display snoozing options on Mac’s Calendar notifications

Apple CalendarOn iOS, it’s easy to snooze your events from built-in Calendar app. Just use swipe gesture, long touch or 3D touch on supported iPhones and then choose from pop-up menu. This also works on many other calendar apps, like Fantastical 2, or to-do managers like Things 3 or any app supporting Rich Notifcations introduced iOS 10, though available options are subject to app character. There is nothing like Rich Notifications for macOS, but it’s possible to choose your snooze interval and I will show you how.

Default snooze interval is 15 minutes. So if you just click on “Snooze” button, Calendar event notification will be shown again in 15 minutes. Pretty annoying not having options, right?

I have also tested this trick on my calendar app of choice – Fantastical 2 – and it worked too.

Hope this trick is helpful.
