I’m owner of Microsoft Lumia and I was finding Youtube player for my smartphone. After trying some, I found Tubecast for YouTube PRO. It’s the best Youtube player I have ever used on my Windows 10 Mobile device. It’s developed by Webrox.
This player got obvious features like forward/backward, volume settings, time played, full screen etc. Many playback resolutions are supported, like 4K (2160p), QHD (1440p), Full HD (1080) and SD (480p). 60 FPS playback is supported too. You can play solo audiotrack without videotrack and it works even if smartphone screen is locked. It’s possible to download Youtube videos for offline viewing, but you can’t send them to other devices.
Are you registered at Youtube? If yes, you can log in and after that in sidebar at Home Screen you will see some features:
- News feed
- Watch later
- Liked videos

With Tubecast and Google account (required for Youtube, because Google owns Youtube) you are able to like videos, comment them and find by “Relevance”, “Date”, “Rating” and “View Count”.
Videos can be streamed via various services, here is list of supported platforms:
- Smart TV
- AirPlay (Apple TV)
- XBox 360 a XBox One
- Google TV

You will need to make extra in-app purchase to unlock stream count limit.
