HP settled the litigation against Acer
On Sunday the company Hewlett-Packard announced that it settled litigation initiated against a competing producer of PCs - the company Acer. Claims were to prevent their import company Acer PCs and laptops in the United States.
Confidentiality agreement concluded between the companies, completing three federal trials, as well as two investigations, conducted by the International Trade in the United States.
HP filed suit against the Taiwan company Acer in October 2007, presenting seven violations of patents for technologies such as reading and writing optical discs, power management in laptops, digital device tires and video surveillance.
