"Phoenix" on Mars: the link restored, began deployment of the robot arm
According to NASA, began deployment of the robot arm automatic probe "Phoenix". Problems with communication caused by the sudden disconnecting the VHF transmitter at the orbital Machinery Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter, removed, commands from Earth passed through another orbiting apparatus - Mars Odyssey.

The deployment of the robot arm will be implemented in seven phases. If everything runs to plan, it is already in about a day, "Phoenix" will be able to proceed with the drilling of rocks near its landing place.
Worth mentioning that "Phoenix" also has sent several colored images made with the help stereokamery Surface Stereo Imager. It specifically noted the press service of NASA, colored "vision" of this camera is somewhat different from the human, so that even after calibration chromaticity (especially for this probe on the case, in sight cameras, color control are "target") color to some extent remain conditional.
