Named winners of the annual premium Webby Awards

In the United States declared winners of the twelfth annual award Webby Awards - the most prestigious awards for achievements in the Internet.

This year, the number of nominations Webby Awards exceeded one hundred. For each nomination named two winners - one of them determined professional jury, and another selected by a vote users of the World Wide Web. Applicants for the award were divided into four categories: web sites, online film and video, interactive advertising and resources for mobile phones.

In total, at the current premium Webby Awards were presented nearly a thousand works from 63 countries in the world. The winners represent seventeen countries, which include the United States, Britain, Spain, the Netherlands, Singapore, France, Mexico, Australia, Canada, Norway, Germany, Japan, New Zealand, South Korea and Sweden.

In the category of web sites, among others, won political blog Huffington Post, fotohosting Flickr, social network Facebook, the newspaper New York Times, edition of Wired and the site of Apple. Nearly three dozen network resources named best in their categories and professional jury, and on the basis of popular vote.

In the field of film and video winners were animated movie 30-Second Bunnies Theatre, videos From Russia With Hate, serial LonelyGirl15 and others.

In the category of online advertising won mobile advertising Motorola Say Goodbye, video Coca Cola Happiness Factory, advertising McDonald's, etc.

Finally, the best mobile resources called Mobile NYTimes, socially-oriented service Zannel, sports site ESPN.com and others.

The award winners will be held in New York on 9 and June 10, 2008. By tradition, each Winner Webby Awards at a ceremony proizneset it in five words long.
