A new study made it possible to detect sverhmassivnuyu black hole, detached from the center of its galaxy. Maybe it happened as a result of the merger of two such facilities. It is believed that in most of the galaxies, the Milky Way-sized or larger, there is sverhmassivnaya black hole mass of billions of masses of our Sun.

Computer models show that waves in the fabric of space-time, evolving through the merger of two such black holes, differ more in one particular direction. As a result, much less black hole pushes in the opposite direction at speeds up to 4000 km / sec. Sometimes this leads to the fact that one of the black holes left galaxy.

Scientists say that this black hole will soon depart from its galaxy. Analysis of the spectrum of light emitted by quasars, shows that the object was moving at a speed of about 2650 km / s on the galaxy. Such a speed is sufficient for separation. To argue this, however, that it is not yet, but researchers hope that monitoring the galaxy using the Hubble Space Telescope will help clarify the situation.
