Microsoft Corporation has released a preliminary version of the new Windows Search Local Search 4.0.

Windows Search Tools allows for the retrieval of information stored on the local computer drives, as well as the devices that are accessible via home or corporate network. Windows Search can index various file types, including text documents, images, songs, e-mails, calendar entries, etc.

In the new version of Windows Search appeared several improvements and additions. First of all, Microsoft is devoting increased performance.
